Colligan was part of Unit Bravo who was sent to San Destro to investigate the disappearance of the town's populace. When a friend went inside the local Aztec Theatres to watch Enter the Nightbird, Colligan played a prank on him by making a shadow on the film screen by using a Tako Tank toy. When he went downstairs to meet his friend, Colligan realized that his friend was acting strangely and was soon killed by Bombshell, but not before he sent out a call announcing his discovery in the theater.
