LV-117 is a world populated by beautiful flora and deadly fauna. Known species include the Arachnosaur and Chaosteros. It also has a high prevalence of crash landings.

IDW comics continuity

The Autobot Wheelie crash landed on LV-117. After surviving against the deadly animal species there for an undisclosed time, he met other castaways. He found the Decepticons Spectro and Spyglass tormenting a captured Varta. Wheelie saved Varta but had to let the two Reflector components steal a spaceship. He had sabotaged it, though, and it exploded in the sky. Wheelie and Varta remained to continue living on the planet. Elsewhere, a Quintesson temple painting began to glow... Spotlight: Wheelie

Years later, an Ilxian warship crashed there and left three survivors, followed much later by Rodimus after he was nearly killed by Megatron. Crash-landings appear to occur quite frequently on this planet. This may or may not be due to the same nearby radiation belt that scrambled the navigation systems on Wheelie's scout ship.

• LV-117's name appears to be a reference to the planet LV-426 from the Aliens series. This wouldn't be the first time for Furman.
