After the Decepticons' all-out assault on Earth, Colonel Daniel Witwicky assembled a team, led by Commander Spike Witwicky, to obtain a weapon culled from the discarded body part of a Transformer. The team consisted of Wilder, Finley, Morin, Diaz, and Bowers.

Just as they set out in their boat to New York City, Ratbat spotted the team and crashed into the boat, drowning everybody but Commander Witwicky. All Hail Megatron #5
