Unprocessed coal is not appropriate food, as it once caused Megatron to lock up. While it isn't appropriate food, Megatron locked up because he was out of energy, not because the coal had a bad effect on him. (I, Robot-Master!) JW 18:56, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

I'd just like to point out that DotM had an example of Cybertronian food - when Megatron returns to the camp that he and Starscream have hatchlings at he gives them scrap metal, basically telling them to "eat up".
