Dark Of The Moon Valentine's cards (2012)

For the 2012 Valentine's Day, American Greetings released two different sets of boxed cards. Although the cards varied by number per set, box size & artwork, and foil / plain, almost all of the artwork and slogans were recycled between the two, with American Greetings simply mixing and matching to make "different" cards. In that sense, the two are practically the same product.
32 Valentines
The discount set (in that it actually appeared in "everything's a dollar" stores), this set contains 32 assorted cards, with each card depicting a character and what is supposed to be a pithy saying. The 32 cards represent eight different cards, with four of each card to a box; they are packed as four sheets containing one each of the eight designs. This box was the smaller of the two, and contained artwork of both Optimus Prime and Bumblebee on the front.
Included cards and their sayings:
- Sentinel Prime - "Valentine, Code Red!"
- Optimus Prime - "Mobilize for Valentine Fun!"
- (teacher's card)
- Autobot Symbol - "Let's Team Up, Valentine!"
- Bumblebee - "Bee My Valentine"
- Megatron - "Rule Valentine's Day!"
- Optimus Prime - "Power Up, Valentine!"
- Bumblebee - "Stand Strong, Valentine!"
- Decepticon Symbol - "Have An Epic-Sized Valentine's Day"
Also included in the set is a 35-count sticker sheet. This sheet contains two images of Optimus Prime, two images of Bumblebee, two images of Sentinel Prime, two images of Megatron, the Autobot symbol, the Decepticon symbol, and a stylized "TF"; each image is repeated at least once.
30 Embossed Foil Valentines
The higher-end set, meaning that it was found in such places as HEB Grocery, this batch contained seven sheets of four cards apiece and two teacher's cards; all cards were embossed in foil, making them reflecive and giving them a limited amount of texture. This set also included the exact same sticker sheet as the above set. Additionally, the box for this set was much larger and featured a solo Optimus Prime.
