The Long-legged Decepticon is a Decepticon from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film continuity family.
Approximately seven hours ago, some... thing attacked the city. I don't know what it is. If you found this tape, I mean if you're watching this right now, then you probably know more about it than I do.

Despite being a quadruped, the long-legged Decepticon is still a formidable foe to tangle with, towering over many other Cybertronians.

Fiction

Dark of the Moon film

The long-legged Decepticon had been stationed on the Moon until Sentinel Prime activated a space bridge to Earth. Heeding the call of Megatron, he joined the Decepticon beachhead in Washington, D.C.. During the invasion of Chicago, he (or another Decepticon much like him) participated in the initial strike and contributed to the mayhem. During the Autobot's attack on this Decepticon stronghold, he was one of the many Decepticons who fired upon the retreating Autobots. When the tide began to turn in the Autobot's favor, however, the behemoth met his end as he tried to hold a bridge. The Wreckers shot him in the head multiple times, presumably killing him. Notes

  • The long-legged Decepticon bears more than a passing resemblance to the monster in the film Cloverfield, with elongated, double-jointed forelegs, short back legs, and a pair of under-slung appendages. The first teasers for Cloverfield were screened during the release of the first Transformers film. Leo Spitz also possessed a Cloverfield poster in the second film.
  • This particular 'con is referred to in concept art as "Devcon", and shown to transform into a "Russian missile launcher."[1]
