Great War (G1)

The Great War is a term used during the Beast Era to describe the Autobot/Decepticon conflict depicted in every single Generation 1 continuity.
It was officially ended by the forming of the Pax Cybertronia with the Autobots the victors and the Decepticons placed under heavy restrictions.
The term is also used in the Animated continuity, though it is more of a parallel development than any in-continuity connection to G1.
