The Keepsake Light-Up Mailbox (name on packaging) was released in 2012 as part of Paper Magic Group's Valentine's Day assortment. The set consists of a cardstock mailbox decorated with images of Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. As the name indicates, opening the box will cause a set of three lights on top of it to flash for a brief period.

The set consisted of 32 cards, the arrangement being 4 sheets of 8 different cards.

Cards in the set:

  • Bumblebee - "Bee My Valentine!"
  • Optimus Prime - "Valentine, The Honor is Mine!"
  • Bumblebee - "Stick With Me, Valentine!"
  • Megatron - "Have a Mega-Great Valentine's Day!"
  • Optimus Prime - "It's Just You and Me Now, Valentine!"
  • Optimus Prime and Bumblebee - "We're On A Valentine Mission!"
  • Sentinel Prime versus Optimus Prime - "I Will Prove That I Am The Best Valentine!"
  • Optimus Prime and Bumblebee - "Autobots, Roll Out!"

Also included in the set was a solid red sheet of alphabet and character stickers (likely to put names on the cards with), a solid pink sheet of hearts (likely to seal the cards if folded), and a notice that the electronics are "tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules" (yes, we're serious about this one).

Notes

[edit]
  • Virtually all of the character artwork used was recycled from the lenticular Valentine's cards released that same year. The only two exceptions are the "Stick With Me" card (which uses a recycled background for its new artwork) and the "It's Just You And Me Now" card (the only one to use completely new artwork).
  • The final Optimus Prime / Bumblebee card in the set is much larger than the others, indicating that it was likely meant as a teacher's card.
  • Yes, they went there with the "Bee" pun on the first card. Unfortunately, they weren't the only one.
    • Similarly, "Let's Roll Out!" was also used in the 2008 Animated Valentine's set.
