Metal Hunter
The "Metal Hunter" is a large, plant-like construct built by the Vok. The site used by the Hunter had previously been responsible for abducting the Maximals Airazor and Tigatron. It was presumeably deployed once the Vok learned that their Planet Buster had failed to kill the Transformers.
The Metal Hunter has the ability to unleash a devesatingly powerful blast which dealt severe damage to all Cybertronian life. Strangely, the effect was much less noticeable on Transmetals and Fuzors, both of whom were knocked out for several minutes, but unharmed.
Megatron attempted to steal the weapon and take it to Cybertron, where he would use its power to conquer the entire planet. This would also bring Cybertron's exact location to the Voks attention. Rattrap managed to sabotage and destroy the Hunter, moments before its journey.
In edition to the Energon Serge Blast that knocked out the Transformers, the Metal Hunter was equiped with:
- Disk Interface
- Floating Command Chair - used to pilot the MetalHunter, destroyed by Rattrap
- Self-Teleporting Device
- Energy Turrets
- Transwarp Cells - Those where installed by the Predacons as a means to reach Cybertron, used to destroy the base by Tarantulas when he downloaded a virus that overloaded them
- Internal Security - this system is not confirmed to be onboard due to when Megatron Quickstrike and Tarantulas entered they didn't receive any reaction due to their Transmetal bodies, hiding them from the scanners as Tarantulas said; "More acuretly, we are one with them now" ,and when Megatron took control of the base shuting it off
- Tractor/Teleporter Beam - Also used to resurect the fallen Predacons, damaged by an attack run from Silverbolt
- Anti-Gravity Drives
- Hull Face Projecter
- Restraint Coils - can prevent Transformers from transforming while delivering a shock to the prisoner, controlled by the chair (see above)
The weapon was never actually called The Metal Hunter in either of the episodes.
