Beast Wars has plenty

The time is finally right

So, if I nominated Beast Wars Megatron, where does he go in terms of alphabetization? Do I write "Beast Wars Megatron" and put him as a B, or Megatron (BW) and put him as an M? --KilMichaelMcC 13:02, 23 February 2012 (EST)

Let's say Megatron (BW). --Monzo 13:07, 23 February 2012 (EST)

I would like to know : what can be considered as separated characters or not ? For instance, let's take Demolishor (Armada). Do we consider it at the same characters as Demolishor (ROTF) ? I have plenty of examples of this kind. Rayqui 13:51, 23 February 2012 (EST)

Generally speaking, Hasbro considers most characters of the same name to be the same character. They don't make nearly the distinctions that this wiki does. --Khajidha 13:55, 23 February 2012 (EST)
The only character distinction consistency I was able to determine when speaking to a representative at BotCon was that I shouldn't have counted BW Silverbolt among the rest of the Silverbolts. So.. apparently the main rule is "Beast Wars Is Different". --Monzo 14:07, 23 February 2012 (EST)
I think it's less "BW is different" and "blatantly, aggressively different". Like, no, ROTF Demolishor wouldn't be considered the same as Armada Demolishor. I don't think Energon Ironhide is considered part of the Ironhide gestalt-character, and his altmode really isn't THAT far off. --M Sipher 18:50, 23 February 2012 (EST)
Extra clarity wouldn't hurt, methinks. I could see Hasbro fusing all of the Wheeljacks and Ratchets, but not all of the Rampages and Thunderwings. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if they make their decision of who to fuse / not fuse the same day they announce the winners. So... put the suffixes in just to make sure. --Thylacine 2000 22:39, 23 February 2012 (EST)
