The Untited States of America is a nation-state on the planet Earth. It is considered to be one of the world's two "superpowers," along with its rival, the Soviet Union. The American government is headed by a president. Interaction between that government and Transformers operating on Earth is a near inevitablity in most dimensions of the multiverse, although whether that relationship is friendly, adversarial, or somewhere in-between varies.
