Verity leaves a lot of farewell letters.

Synopsis

It is the past. Hunter O'Nion has found Verity Carlo's farewell letter. In the present, Verity can't stop missing Hunter, no matter how much she tries.

At another time, Ultra Magnus reads Verity's parting words. Nonplussed, he orders the computer to decontaminate Verity's former room.

On a subway train headed somewhere, Verity thinks of Ironfist and his back-up for his "biggest bomb".

(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)

Notes

  • As detailed in the hardcover edition of Last Stand of the Wreckers, the idea that Ironfist left a spare Aequitas data slug with Verity originated in an early version of the script for issue 5. It had to be cut for space, but eventually made it into this comic instead.
