Talk:Dreadwing (Prime)
Can somebody unprotect this page? —Interrobang 12:16, 2 February 2012 (EST)
- Less than three hours, and already some anon shat one out and we had to protect it again. Sigh. - Chris McFeely 18:58, 2 February 2012 (EST)
Can this page become unprotected? After all, Dreadwing has appeared in a commercial. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.45.57.176 (talk • contribs) 16:10, 11 March 2012 (EDT).
- Given that there is still absolutely nothing to say about him, and each time we've left it unlocked in the past someone has messed it up, we'll just wait until he actually appears. - Chris McFeely 16:21, 11 March 2012 (EDT)
Hey, I thought of something funny to add. The Transformers Prime staff explicitly that they weren't going to use redeco characters, right? Well, lookit what we have here.--184.100.243.196 23:29, 25 March 2012 (EDT)
- That boat sailed when they had Tailgate be a recolor of Cliffjumper. --abates 23:35, 25 March 2012 (EDT)
Tailgate wasn't clearly shown, and similar body type isn't uncommon; I point to Animated and WFC. Outright recolors? Not so much. And if that is the case, Tailgate could get a mention too in the trivia note.--184.100.243.196 00:23, 26 March 2012 (EDT)
- "This is the first time this has happened except for that other time" is not a great note. --ItsWalky 00:39, 26 March 2012 (EDT)
I don't mean like the first time, I mean like making a joke of it. Example:
- "At BotCon 2011, the writers of Prime explicitly said that Redeco characters would not be used. Ask Dreadwing and Tailgate about how well that worked out."
Eh? Eh?--184.100.243.196 01:08, 26 March 2012 (EDT)
Can we add some trivia to this page, including the above controversy over not using redecos, as well as the fact that this guy is basically [[Dirge (G1)]|Dirge]]? 98.215.52.59 17:36, 28 March 2012 (EDT)
- There is no "controversy" and Dreadwing is not Dirge. We do not make notes for the sake for notes. —Interrobang 19:34, 28 March 2012 (EDT)
- Um, can you read? They said they wouldn't use a redeco and yet they did. Also, are you oblivious to the similarities between the two? Cross-references, especially for the sake of humor, are this wiki's bread and butter. 98.215.52.59 02:36, 29 March 2012 (EDT)
