Robo-landscaper

Robo-landscapers are technology from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Robo-landscapers are automated devices for, presumably, landscaping. They possess a surprisingly advanced AI for what are essentially glorified lawn mowers, and possess spinning blades capable of slicing through metal poles like a hot knife through butter. It's probably not much of a surprise that they sometimes throw off their chains of human bondage and go on a rampage.

A robo-landscaper in Griffin Rock started running wild. Pursued by Chase and Chief Burns, it narrowly missed an old man, instead taking out the elephant topiary he was working on. After slicing the tops off a number of lamp posts, the machine ducked into an alley and managed to temporarily circle around behind its pursuers. Chase transformed, briefly wrestled with the robo-landscaper's blades, and then threw the entire contraption into a dumpster, all while reading it its rights. Under Pressure
