Dani Burns

Dani Burns is a human from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Being the only daughter of Charlie Burns, Dani Burns feels she has a little extra to prove. However, she's easily as tough as her brothers, and she enjoys the danger and action involved with being part of the Rescue Bots team. Her helicopter piloting skills and willingness to take risks help her to guide her acrophobic partner Blades through stressful situations.

Dani attended the dedication of the new rescue robots with brothers Kade and Graham, however when they were called to the natural history museum to deal with a fire, she found her new helicopter was reluctant to fly very high or fast and thus arrived late. That night, they were further startled when their vehicles went off on their own to chase a robotic Tyrannosaurus rex. Dani used her helicopter to drop a metal cell on the dinosaur. It was only later that their father revealed that the four robots were aliens. Family of Heroes

Dani and Blades continued having problems working together. Cody interrupted Dani's rock climbing to try and assist, and eventually lured her, Kade and Graham to the bunker under the fire station in an attempt to get them to bond with their partners, but Dani's enthusiasm about flying just made Blades uncomfortable. When they subsequently had to deal with an active volcano, Dani had to cajole Blades into flying out of the ash cloud. When she later spotted that the lava was flowing into the tunnels leading to the bunker where Cody was, she managed to spur Blades into action so they could pick up a nearby water tower and dump it on the lava. After feeling left out of a rescue, Dani went to Doc Greene and borrowed a scoop claw, which she attached to Blades. The pair were soon bogarting all the rescues with Blades's new attachment, and Kade and Graham registered their complaints with her. She took Blades out on patrol, but when the Autobot was forced down after being struck by lightning, she and Cody were in danger of being baked by a forest fire. After a rescue by the rest of the team, Dani and Blades opted to put the claw in storage until it was really needed. Hotshots During the preparations for the Lobster and Technology Festival, Dani and Blades were called on to retrieve a runaway lobster parade balloon. They took part in the technology parade the next day, and when the festival was attacked by flobsters, the pair took part in the roundup operation so the flobsters could be neutralized. As the town panicked as a result of Huxley Prescott announcing an alien invasion, Dani and Blades tried to help the citizens, and had to tow the overloaded ferry to safety. Dani and her partner attempted to help Mr Harrison, but were forced to ask for help from the others. After Cody tried to soup up his go-kart Rolling Thunder with nanites, the pair were in time to save him from an out-of-control Scrapmaster.
