Runabout and Runamuck give a history lesson.
Synopsis
- During the Battle of Autobot City, Devastator crashes through a wall and enters the city. Ultra Magnus roars up, letting off Red Alert, Sideswipe and Tracks, who fire a barrage of missiles at the giant. Devastator is blasted back, separated into the individual Constructicons. The Decepticon team picks themselves up and starts counterattacking, forcing the four Autobots to run. Red Alert hangs back to try to stall the Constructicons, but is shot in the back and falls. Further behind the conflict, Megatron is triumphant at their breach of the city.
Runabout and Runamuck continue their story, outlining how Optimus Prime arrived and defeated Megatron, whom was later turned into Galvatron. Because Galvatron is nuts, the two Battlechargers have stayed on Cybertron while the other Decepticons left the planet. Their audience, Jhiaxus, decides that with the information they've given him, it's clear that the time is right to begin his plan to restore the Cybertronian Empire.

"And then he threw Megatron off a cliff! Can you believe it? Who does that?"
- —Runamuck
Notes
- The Autobot City battle pages are based on a set of storyboards for a deleted scene from The Transformers: The Movie. Like, directly based on them—every panel is a copy of a storyboard frame.
