John Fitzgerald Kennedy was President of the United States during a turbulent time. A UFO had crashed on the moon, and he needed to make sure that the US got to it before the Russians did. Unfortunately, he met his untimely end before either party got the chance.

Two years before John Kennedy was elected, the Ark crashed on Earth's moon. However, his predecessor, Dwight Eisenhower, didn't get around to doing anything about it. Kennedy decided that the US had to get to the moon before the Russians did. This resulted in NASA rushing to put a man on the moon before the end of the decade.
