This article is about the heroic Octopunch from Shattered Glass. For the evil Octopunch from Generation 1, see Octopunch (G1).

Those who know Octopunch like to call him an ordinary, everyday Decepticon. Which is pretty weird, since he's nothing like the rest of them! Unlike his peers, Octopunch has no psychological hangups or weird quirks. He's just a guy, you know? He doesn't even understand why everyone likes fighting so much; he's got no love for war. For him, the war's just a job, and like any other job, he wants to do it well.

Octopunch is covered in experimental rheanimum rust-proofing, which was intended to help him in his underwater missions, but also had the side effect of making him impervious to any nanotech invasions. In other words, when there's Junkions on the docket, the Decepticons make sure he's on the roster. Octopunch also carries two positron-torpedo launchers.

  • Spinister/Shattered Glass Octopunch (BotCon 2012 souvenir add-on)
A redeco of Transformers Sea Spray, Octopunch transforms into a transport hovercraft with rolling wheels underneath. The rear deck (featuring a fold-down ramp) can carry most Scout class vehicles. Octopunch's turbofans can rotate and tilt at several angles, and feature little fans inside that can spin (only by manual manipulation, as there is no gimmick mechanism linked to them). Octopunch's torpedo launchers attach on the sides of his air cushion skirt.
In robot mode, Octopunch's design resembles that of a scuba diver, with a breather mask and "goggles" on his head, details resembling scuba air tanks (actually part of his vehicle mode air cushion) on his back and fold-out flippers on his feet. His torpedo launchers, using 5mm posts, can be left attached to the underside of his arms as they were in vehicle mode, or placed in his hands. As with other toys from the 2010 line, Octopunch has C joints, and in this case, it's the silver ladder rungs on his shoulders.
Octopunch's mold was also used to make Deep Dive.
