The perpetual motion lamp is an invention from the Aligned continuity family.
In this house we obey the laws of THERMO DYNAMICS!

While a good idea in theory, the perpetual motion lamp fails to work in practice. Doc Greene keeps it in the room with the other "Best Left Forgotten" stuff like the invisible telephone and the weather machine.
