Autoroller (BW)

The Autorollers are a Predacon subgroup and sometimes faction from the Beast Wars II portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Autorollers (オートローラーズ Ōtorōrāzu) are seasoned veterans of the Predacon army, having spent years honing their skills on the battlefield. They have teamed with Galvatron, the Emperor of Destruction, to defeat the Maximals on Gaea and retrieve the Angolmois energy.

The Autorollers consist of:

Fiction

Beast Wars II cartoon

Megastorm reformatted the Autorollers from four blank protoforms to boldly go forth and do fun Predacon things like burning trees and shooting up forest creatures. Public urination, however, was reserved for the opposition.

Even before adopting their vehicular forms (culled from ancient Gaea records), Megastorm referred to the protoforms as Autorollers.

The four Autoroller toys included two molds previously released during Generation 2, and two additional molds developed but never released. All four feature gearing mechanisms that automatically transform the toys from vehicle to robot when rolled forward.

Notes

• Like some of the other Beast Wars II Predacons, the Autorollers were reissued in Korea in Car Robots packaging, reaffiliated as an Autobot, and renamed. Autocrasher became Scout Slasher. Autojetter became Scout Jet. Autolauncher became Scout Ranger. Autostinger became Scout Stinger.
