Pharma (G1)
- Pharma is an Autobot from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Pharma is the chief medical officer at Delphi, an Autobot infirmary located on the planet Messatine. Despite being a haughty control freak, he is acknowledged as an excellent doctor. He hates Decepticons with a passion, but seems to be willing to take self-preservation a bit farther than any good Autobot would.

When two monoformer Genericons showed up at Delphi begging for shelter, Pharma was reluctant to show them mercy but was obliged to do so under Article 7 of the Autobot Code. He had them patched up but still insisted on locking them away afterward. Not long after that, the Red Rust plague broke out as a result of a biological weapon being set off by the Decepticon Justice Division. However, he was working in the quarantine room at the time of the explosion. The room automatically sealed itself in response to the technopathogen with him still inside, never to open again until the pathogens were gone. The ward manager, Ambulon, didn't realize he had the authority to execute a manual override until Ratchet told him so. Pharma quickly went to ensure that the Decepticons they'd taken in earlier were secured, claiming he'd figured out what had happened. However, they'd already been released and had obtained weapons somehow. They threw him onto his aft in front of Ratchet, Drift, and Ambulon. Life After the Big Bang

The Autobots later were cornered by the Genericons but the Genericons later got destroyed by an angry Fortress Maximus. Pharma then took this time to reveal his true colors. It turned out Pharma had set off the Red Rust virus outbreak originally to escape a deal he had made with the Decepticon Justice Division earlier, he then paid the two Genericons to get captured and claim to be Monoformers and once locked up together, they would transform into their audio equipment alternate forms and create a sound that would corrode those who heard it. He then used to higher death rates over the frequency the Lost Light had received from his cog harvesting. The Autobots try to trick Pharma into transforming so he would get infected but Pharma already knew and fled. Ratchet pursued Pharma and grapple on the roof of Delphi. Pharma managed to fall from the roof and clung on the edge, unable to transform into jet mode and fly to safety without being infected. Drift then arrives and slices Pharma's hands off, sending him to plummet to his death. Ratchet then takes his vaccine and cures all of the inhabitants of Delphi from the virus.
