They call me Mr. Pharmaceutical.

Pharma is the chief medical officer at Delphi, an Autobot infirmary located on the planet Messatine. Despite being a haughty control freak, he is acknowledged as an excellent doctor. He hates Decepticons with a passion, but seems to be willing to take self-preservation a bit farther than any good Autobot would.

Pharma was forced to make a deal with the Decepticon Justice Division to kill patients in order to give their transformation cogs to the Division's transformation obsessed leader in return for Delphi's safety. How Ratchet Got His Hands Back

Pharma once performed a 4-way fuel pump transplant while being one of the donors himself. Life After the Big Bang

Pharma caught First Aid reading Wreckers: Declassified instead of working. He ordered him to check on Roulette. Bullets

When two monoformer Genericons showed up at Delphi begging for shelter, Pharma was reluctant to show them mercy, but was obliged to do so under Article 7 of the Autobot Code. He had them patched up but still insisted on locking them away afterward. Not long after that, the Red Rust plague broke out as a result of a biological weapon being set off by the Decepticon Justice Division. He was working in the quarantine room at the time of the explosion, and the room automatically sealed itself in response to the technopathogen with him still inside, never to open again until the pathogens were gone. He was unable to get out until a manual override was executed by the ward manager, Ambulon. Pharma then quickly went to ensure that the Genericons they'd taken in earlier were secured, claiming he'd figured out what had happened. However, they'd already been released and had somehow obtained weapons, and they threw Pharma onto his aft in front of Ratchet, Drift, and Ambulon. Life After the Big Bang

This might have been the end for the others, but the Genericons were destroyed by an angry Fortress Maximus. Pharma tried to turn the blame on Ambulon but Ratchet and First Aid quickly worked out the truth. Pharma had freed the Cons and set off the Red Rust virus outbreak to escape a deal he had made with the Decepticon Justice Division. He then paid the two Genericons, Sonic and Boom, to get captured and claim to be Monoformers. Once locked up together, they had transformed into their joint audio equipment alternate form and created a sound that was the source of the disease, and would corrode those who heard it starting the first time they transformed. Ratchet pursued Pharma and grappled with him on the roof for the cure. Pharma fell and clung onto the edge, unable to transform into jet mode and fly to safety without activating the virus. As Ratchet turned around to leave him to his fate, Pharma tried to shoot him, but Drift suddenly came and sliced Pharma's hands off, sending him plummeting to his apparent death. Ratchet found use for the two remaining fragments of the traitorus doctor: replacing his own worn-out hands. How Ratchet Got His Hands Back
