Adaptus

Adaptus is a deity from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Adaptus is a god, believed to have "forged" the Cybertronians and given them the ability to transform. As such, the transformation cog is associated with him.

Forging is somehow associated with Adaptus: forged medics (rather than constructed ones) have natural skills that make them the best medics, and this is seen by some as proof of Adaptus' existence.
