As I asked on the LoC Category talk page: Is "Legends of Cybertron" an official term? I've only ever seen Legends by itself, as a size-class designation like Scout or Voyager. --KilMichaelMcC 05:13, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Whatever it turns out to be, it should definitely not be limited to Legends of Cybertron since the line has branched into both Classic & Movie franchises. Evil-yuusha 20:03, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
It depends on how you define "Cybertron." Any Classics toy can still be a "Legends of Cybertron" because, well, they're all from Cybertron. The planet. --ItsWalky 21:15, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
As I said on the category talk page: "Legends of Cybertron" is, according to *ahem* certain inside sources, the official name for the four waves that contain Cybertron-based toys/characters (it was printed on shipping cases, but so was an older working name, "Cybertron All-Stars", which is why I'm having to rely on what I was told upon inquiry). However, I've never seen the term being used in the context of non-Cybertron characters in any official capacity. Therefore, only Hot Shot, Leobreaker, Evac, Scourge, Jetfire etc. are "Legends of Cybertron", whereas the rest is simply "Legends" or "Legends Class toys" (Perceptor, Trypticon, Whirl etc. might be called "Classic[s] Legends", and Barricade, Blackout, Jazz, Ratchet etc. are "Movie Legends"). The term "Legends of Cybertron" was simply used because it originally started out as a sub-line/size class during the Cybertron line. It makes no sense in the context of non-Cybertron characters. Also, the question remains whether the Legends are a sub-line or merely a size class. Personally, I would say the latter.--Nevermore 18:01, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Legends are clearly more than just a size class. Scouts, Deluxes, Voyagers, etc. aren't labeled on their packaging with "Series" numbers that carry over from franchise to franchise. --KilMichaelMcC 18:08, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Waves vs. Series

Shouldn't we have these listed by Series given that they're on the actual toy packaging? Also, what series are Blackout and Starscream? They in Series 8 with Prime and Megs or on their own in Series 9? --FortMax 20:31, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Old 3H Club Skywarp figure (never released)?

Back before things went south for 3H, there were plans for a Skywarp figure to be given to club members (a redeco of the Japanese Super Figure Collection Starscream) which was to be the first of a "Legends of Cybertron" line. (This unreleased figure is even mentioned on Skywarp's page). Since the line was cancelled, I'm not sure if there should be a separate "Legends of Cybertron (3H)" page, or if the concept should simply be listed in the notes on this page (the only "Legends" page that references the "Legends of Cybertron" name). Thoughts? --G.B. Blackrock 00:31, 3 June 2012 (EDT)
