Metroplex (FOC)

Metroplex is an Autobot city-bot from the Fall of Cybertron portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Metroplex is a gigantic Autobot whose alt-mode is a city. In other words, don't piss him off. In an interview at E3, Matt Tieger said he was created because the 'cons were laying waste to Iacon in a seige, making Optimus desperate. Optimus "experiments with some things that he doesn't know very well" and the end result is Metroplex. Optimus can paint targets with a laser, prompting Metroplex to launch a rain of artillery, or even directly interact with the battlefield. The laser functions on a cooldown timer. Also, Tieger mentioned that a city-sized 'bot is pretty much a good counter-measure for literally ANYTHING.
