Tengu Sector is a location from the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1/Beast Era continuity family.

Tengu Sector is a Maximal designation for an area on Earth during the Beast Wars.

In the Tengu Sector, Cheetor spotted Megatron and Rampage from the air while the Predacons were on their way to alter history and wipe out the human race. Cheetor came under fire and was quickly driven off, but not before he radioed their position to Dinobot, who assured him that someone would follow-up on his report. Code of Hero

• Beast Wars story editors Bob Forward and Larry DiTillio worked various references to the online Transformers fandom into the series. In this case, Tengu was a screen name used by Rob Gerbracht, who went on to become one of the writers for the Wreckers comic book series.
