Sega is a multinational Video Game and Software designer who's main office is in Ota, Tokyo, Japan. There mascot is Sonic the Hedgehog.

They have made a few Transformers products including Transformers Animated: The Chase which was a online game which interacted with cards distributed through Transformers Animated toys in Japan. They also made Transformers Animated: The Shooting online game that also used cards from Animated toys in Japan. Probably a coincidence right.

A Brief History[Because its not really about Transformers]

In 1957 Service Games and Rosen Enterprises merged and Became SEGA. (Service Games). They became popular with a submarine simulator which became popular in Japan. In 1969, Rosen sold Sega to Gulf & Western Industries, remaining on however as CEO of the Sega division. They prospered and in 1979 they took the company public. They Manufactured home consoles from 1982-2004. In 1991 they made Sonic and he became their mascot and took the world by storm. Now, not so much. Anyway they now make third party games.

Trivia

  • Transformers Animated Blurr seems to be partially based on Sonic, Look at Sonics head, then Blurr's, then Sonic and Back at Blurr.
    • They never made a Transformers game. Bummer. [Unless you count the online TFA games mentioned]
