FWIW, the new Powerdive definitely has a Ransack headsculpt. But he's clearly in Powerdive colors. Maybe his bio will make him Ransack, but otherwise I think we have to assume he's Powerdive with a weird new head. Which happens; Pretender Bumblebee is still Bumblebee and not Cliffjumper. -LV 22:29, 13 July 2012 (EDT)

That's not entirely true, as with the visor down he looks like he retains Powerdive's "goggles" and rounded noggin. If anything, he's a bizarre twin homage. Also, do we know this head was a pre-tool? It wasn't on Highbrow's instructions.--MCRG 02:12, 1 August 2012 (EDT)
I agree with the "bizarre twin homage" thing. The alt-mode is obviously Ransack, the headsculpt I feel is more Ransack-y, but the name and colors is Powerdive. The bio is pretty unrelated to either, though it does mention detecting and attacking enemies which is also in G2 Powerdive's bio (which is admittedly pretty vague but more than he has in common with Ransack). I hope the US release has a more specific bio. Or a hilariously out of place one, that gives him Leadfoot's bio or something.
The new head has Ransack's "goggles", not Powerdive's. Powerdive's are rounded. Everything about Powerdive's head is rounded. Ransack has straight edges and angles, just like this new head. The new head has the same complex central part to the helmet. It also has Ransack's sloped cheek pieces. If this toy had been released in Ransack colors like Hasbro US's intention apparently was all along, we're not even having this conversation. (The head was shown at BC as the "pretool" for Highbrow.) There's no question this is intended to be Powerdive - he's the right colors, he has the right bio (he dives) and tech specs and he even has tampos based on Powerdive's - but that's clearly a Ransack head on his shoulders. -LV 11:37, 15 August 2012 (EDT)
