Infiltrator is a class from Fall of Cybertron's multiplayer mode.

As an Infiltrator, you sneak up behind your opponent and attack his weak point for massive damage. Infiltrators are fast on land, tend to be invisible, and can attack with sniper rifles and other precision weapons. They turn into cars and dinosaurs.

Characteristics

The Infiltrator class is quite similar to its basis, the Scout. It's still the fastest (ground) class and still relies on stealth and guile to rack up kills.

Body Types

Six body types were available with the game initially, with two unlocked from the get-go and the rest available by spending Energon Shards. The heads, chest/vehicle, shoulders, arms, legs, and wheels were interchangeable. The initial bodies were:

Several bonus heads could be added on by attaining certain levels. They were:

  • Predator (Slug beast head, unlocked at level 25)
  • Fire Breather (Trypticon, unlocked at Prime)
  • Creeper (Kickback insect head, unlocked at Prime level 25)
  • Elite (Bumblebee with a crown, unlocked by reaching Prime 25 with every class)

Later, downloadable content could be purchased that added more body types. So far, they've been:

  • Scrapper (Wheeljack)
  • Roadside (Slug; wheels can't be altered with this type)

Finally, each class could apply a variety of faction symbols (called "decals"). Each set cost 400 Energon Shards, and many contained references to past Transformers subgroups. They were: Targetmasters; Lightning Strikeforce; Warchargers; Astro Squad; Protectobots; Energo Squad; Battle Squad; Lazer Rods.

Weapons

Abilities

  • Cloak - The Infiltrator's signature ability returns, and can be upgraded to be more effective.
  • EMP Grenade - Similar to the EMP grenades of War for Cybertron, this thrown projectile fogs up an enemy's visual display for a few seconds. Affected opponents glow orange.
