"The red zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the white zone."
"No, the white zone is for loading of passengers and there is no stopping in a RED zone."

The Airport Base (エアポートベース Eapōto Bēsu) is a key component of the Zone Base, serving as the complex's spaceport, where owner and operator Overair welcomes visitors to planet Zone from all over the galaxy. Like all the components of the Zone Base, the Airport Base can transform into a defensive battle station, armed with surface-to-air missiles to intercept any intruders into Zone airspace.

Upon the creation of the Zone Base, Overair was put in charge of the Airport Base. Zone Part 4

When the Decepticon Generals invaded Zone, the Airport Base attempted to fend the villains off. It transformed from its airport form into a massive artillery platform and let the Decepticons have it with volley after volley of completely and utterly pointless firepower. No matter how much firing was done, no actual damage was done to the Decepticons, who managed to make off with a sample of Energon Z. Fight! "Bad news. The fog's getting thicker."
"And Leon is getting laaaaarrrrrger."
  • Airport Base (Micromaster Station, 1990)
    • Japanese ID number: C-342
    • Accessories: 2 missiles, ramp
The Airport Base transforms from a blue, grey and orange airport into a "launch station" armed with two large missiles. The universally-sized ramp packaged with the station allows it to link up to every other Micromaster Station and Micromaster Transport. It is identical to the Decepticon airport released the previous year by Hasbro, which was packaged with the Decepticon Micromaster Airwave, himself identical to Overair.
