Avenida Nueve de Julio
Avenida Nueve de Julio is the main boulevard of Buenos Aires. Its centerpiece is a tall obelisk.

While drunk with the power of the Underbase, Starscream landed on the obelisk in the middle of Avenida Nueve de Julio. From up there, he slaughtered the Technobots and the Terrocons. Soundwave shot him off the obelisk in-between, but this did not stop the Seeker at all. On the ground, Starscream killed Soundwave and would've killed Fortress Maximus if the latter hadn't been protected by being partially organic. Starscream teared the obelisk loose and prepared to beat Fortress Maximus into the next world with it, but Omega Supreme, the last opponent standing, stopped him. He caught the obelisk and placed it back where it previously stood. Starscream killed him for his efforts and would've killed Fortress Maximus anyway if it hadn't been for activity aboard the Ark that required immediate attention, so Starscream left the Autobot and Avenida Nueve de Julio alone for the time being. IDW Revenge of the Fallen comics
During his battle with Sideswipe and to a lesser extent Ironhide, Demolishor moved into Buenos Aires with the specific intent to create as much carnage as possible. The battle made its way to Avenida Nueve de Julio, where Demolishor demolished the obelisk with one well-aimed swipe. In the end, the Decepticon was not stopped by the two Autobots, but by their comrades, the Argentine Air Force, and the United States military's arrival and attacks that forced him to retreat.
