Scrap was a Transformer phrase which referred to damaged or demolished equipment. To refer to someone as scrap or scrapmetal was a powerful insult.

• Formerly just used to draw a comparison to actual junk metal, with Transformers: Prime, "scrap" has evolved into the catch-all Transformer swear word, replacing the former "slag" due to international concerns (that is to say, "slag" actually is a rude word in the United Kingdom). As such, it is open to use in all the various colourful ways that "slag" was, most often as an isolated exclamation of frustration.
