Talk:Bumblebee (G2)
From MediaWiki
I'm not objecting to giving the clones their own pages, but I'm not in love with removing the toys from the original characters' pages. - Chris McFeely 12:31, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
- Ditto. Last I checked GoBots Bumblebee's bio made no mention of him being a clone, or a villain. --Detour 12:33, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
- The clones aren't villains. They're pretty nice guys. --ItsWalky 14:37, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
- I feel like the toys should be considered repurposings, because there's no way that they were intended to be anything but the characters they were named. SG Camshaft is considered a repurposing, for example, and his toy remains on his G1 page. Antimatter 15:16, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
- Some of the Go-Bots may be ambiguous enough to retcon that they were clones, but Bumblebee became easier for the Decepticons to track because of his Go-Bot form's increased size and altered design structure. - Starfield 16:55, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
- I'm just going off the precedent set by King Atlas. He was G1 Dai Atlas for years before he got repurposed as another guy. So I suppose we should go put that toy back on his page. --ItsWalky 20:08, 3 October 2012 (EDT)

- Yeah, no. I object to removing the G2 Go-Bots toys from the original characters' pages. --M Sipher 15:29, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
Yeah. These are DEFINATELY repurposings. So they should remain on the original pages and here.--76.28.76.206 17:45, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
