This article is about the Führer from Operation Combination. For the Air General from Animated, see Scrash (Animated).
Scrash is a Decepticon from the Operation Combination portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The mysterious Decepticon Führer[1] Scrash (総統 スクラッシュ Sōtō Sukurasshu) commands the Decepticon forces from afar as they try to plunder the Earth of its energy. His troops consist of the mighty Battle Gaia, the Jet Corps and Master Chaos. He apparently turns into a large jet.[2]

Commanding the Decepticons from a distance, Scrash ordered Battle Gaia and the Jet Corps to attack the Earth and plunder it of energy. The Decepticons only made it as far as Earth's orbit, where they were defeated by the Autobot Scrum Combination. Scrash did not actually participate in the battle at all, which in hindsight, might have helped its outcome a little. Conclusion

Later, alongside Flashwing, Deathplay, Darkfly and Sharpedge, Scrash made another bid to conquer Earth, this time joining in on the battle in his massive jet mode. Unfortunately for him and his minions, he was defeated by the new Autobots defending Earth, but primarily Sixbuilder, and never heard from again. Kiss Players timeline

United EX

At the same time as he was directing Battle Gaia and the Jet Corps, Scrash was also overseeing the Decepticons' new "Master Chaos" sub-group in attempts to steal the new Power Core Combination technology that the Autobots had developed alongside humankind. When Combatmaster succeeded in purloining a set of drones intended for Choppermaster, he reported his success to Scrash, who then instructed him to release Battle Gaia in order to create a distraction that would allow them to continue their thefts. Toys

No toy of Scrash was ever released, and he did not actually appear in any Operation Combination fiction, being mentioned only in its background material. Use of the Turbomasters and Predators in the Operation Combination toyline, coupled with the fact that he turns into a large jet, led fans to conjecture that Scrash would have been the Japanese version of the toy known in Hasrbo markets as Skyquake; the fact that in some European markets Skyquake was sold under the name Crash seems to support this. Skyquake was also released in Japan in the European packaging, with only some legal information on the back changed to Japanese, which seems to bear the idea out further. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II went along with this theory by showing an Animated character called "Air General Scrash" who looks very much like Skyquake. Then, finally, the fiction produced for the Transformers United EX toyline at long last showed Scrash, and did indeed base him on Skyquake.
