Fallout donated his body to a Relinquishment Clinic at some point, where it became one of a pair of bodies—the other donated by a 'bot named Streaker—into which were implanted the Sparks of a duo of assassins hired by Senator Proteus to execute pro-Decepticon senators Momus and Sherma. They succeeded in killing Sherma, but police officers Chromedome and Prowl arrived on the scene just after they dispatched Momus in Translucentia Heights. Chromedome pursued the killer inhabiting Fallout's body as he attempted to flee, but his lack of familiarity with Fallout's airborne alternate mode was his downfall: he wound up colliding with reinforced glass in a pedestrian tunnel, which knocked him out of the sky and into an ironic billboard, which exploded and took him with it.
