Nicholas James (born December 15, 1957 in Santa Monica) is a sound editor. His earliest Hollywood work was co-writing and co-producing cult film Forbidden Zone, before making a career of sound editing on movies and shows such as Gremlins and Knots Landing. During the 80s, he worked at Marvel Productions on cartoons including Inhumanoids, My Little Pony 'n Friends and The Transformers. Since, he has been a sound editor on my big budget films such as Terminator 2, Independence Day, Starship Troopers and Skyline. He currently works at Protozoa Pictures.
