Transformers: Age of Extinction (film)

Template:Nav-tf4 "Transformers 4" is the yet-to-be-titled fourth film in the live-action film series. It is currently scheduled for June 27, 2014.[1] It will be set four years after the climatic battle of Dark of the Moon.[2]

- February 13, 2012 — Paramount announced Michael Bay had signed a deal to make a fourth Transformers film.[1]
- June 6, 2012 — During Transformers: The Ride coverage, LA Times reported Michael Bay as saying the film would have a whole new human cast and redesigned robots.[3]
- June 21, 2012 — In another LA Times interview, Bay revealed that film would not be a reboot as previously stated.[4]
- September 21, 2012 — Michael Bay confirmed Peter Cullen would be kept on as Optimus Prime.[5]
- October 18, 2012 — The logo was revealed at a Paramount presentation.[6]
- November 8, 2012 — After a number of rumors suggested it, Michael Bay cast Mark Wahlberg in the film.[7]
- December 15, 2012 — Wahlberg confirms that filming of Transformers 4 will commence on May 2013. [8]
