Rewind (FOC)

Rewind is an Autobot from the Aligned continuity family.

Rewind possesses perfect recall of any and every fact he is exposed to, making him a perfect spy for the Autobot cause. This massive data retention ability is prone to giving him crushing headaches, but not to worry—his buddy Sunder is on hand with some dubstep to soothe him. Hmmn.

Part of the second wave of Generations Legends Class toys, Rewind is a retool of the Rumble/Frenzy mould, and transforms from a "data disc" into a humanoid figure via a fully automatic, spring-loaded process triggered when a button on his underside is pressed. He is designed to interact with the Voyager Class Blaster mold, able to store within the larger figure's chest compartment and to be launched out of it, automatically transforming as he does so. He comes with a translucent red plastic case which can be used to store him in disc mode.

He was only available in a two-pack with Sunder. This version of this mold was also used to make Eject

Notes

• The way that Sunder and Rewind's shared bio is written is vague enough that it could be either of the two little 'bots who likes dubstep. As all the data disk two-packs have bios built around a shared joke that each duo has opposing outlooks, TFWiki is interpreting it to mean that Sunder is the dubstep lover, and that the joke is the Rewind has it forcibly played for him—because if you've heard any dubstep, you'll know it's the last thing you'll want to hear when you have a headache.
