Trukk not munky

"Trukk not Munky" (or "Truk not Munky") is a phrase used by Transformers fans derisively towards those that complain about changes to the mythos During Beast Wars, unironic posts bemoaning that "Optimus should be a truck, not a stupid monkey" were not uncommon, and by early 2001 "Trukk not Munky" was the go-to sarcastic reply. Since the Beast Era has ended, the term's usage has been generalized to include non-munky complaints.
It is not currently known if the phrase was created as a parody, or if it was taken originally from a particularly bad speller.
