Shigeru Chiba
Shigeru Chiba (千葉 繁 Chiba Shigeru) is a veteran Japanese voice actor. He was born as Masaharu Maeda (前田正治, Maeda Masaharu) on February 4, 1954 in Kikuchi, Kumamoto, Japan. He has also worked as a stunt man and sound effects director. He is now employed by the talent management firm 81 Produce.
He is the go-to guy for playing treacherous, screechy-voiced characters, such as Janosz from the Japanese dub of Ghostbusters II. Some of his better known roles are Kazuma Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho, the Fist of the North Star TV series Narrator, Buggy the Clown in One Piece, Corset in Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Wedge Antilles in the Japanese dub of Star Wars, Urusei Yatsura's Megane, Professor Hiragi in Mon Colle Knights, Yotsuya in Maison Ikkoku, Pilaf & Raditz from Dragon Ball and Victor Sullivan in the Japanese dub of the Uncharted series.
