The Decepticons set up a command bunker in back-woods Nebraska atop a seam of Ore-13. Infiltration #5 They later abandoned it in favor of a base in Oregon and the Nebraska base was infiltrated by Stoker. His photographs of the inside of the bunker eventually fell into the hands of the Autobots. Infiltration #3 Ratchet and Bumblebee took three young humans to the Nebraska bunker to investigate it, and Verity Carlo stumbled on human corpses, and Megatron. Infiltration #4 The trio managed to escape before Skywarp and Blitzwing destroyed the bunker. Megatron was unhappy, mainly because he was still in the bunker at the time, and proceeded to trash both Decepticons. Infiltration #5

Prime cartoon

The Vehicons mined energon in Nebraska. There Megatron reanimated Cliffjumper's corpse with Dark Energon, prompting a rescue attempt by the Autobots. Starscream blew up the mine on Megatron's order, but the Autobots escaped via the GroundBridge as the detonation removed all traces of the mine. Dreadwing crashed his ship outside Omaha, leading to a firefight between him and Wheeljack. Fowler and the Autobots quickly turned up, but as Dreadwing was escaping, a gas station was blown up. Loose Cannons
