It's Mirage's grandpa!

This ancient Autobot survivor is one of the sole survivors of the Decepticons conquest of Cybertron. Hiding out in dark alleyways, he survives as best he can. Then Optimus Prime leads the cops right to him. Good going, Prime.

Fiction

When the entire Earth-based Autobot force was wiped out in a Decepticon raid, Optimus Prime took a one-man shuttlecraft back to Cybertron in search of reinforcements. The only one he found was this guy. Everyone else was (presumably) dead. Then the Decepticon Police jumped them.

The sad part? The old codger was just part of an incredibly elaborate dream that Prime had while KOed by a Decepticon blaster. Return to Cybertron
