E. J. Su is an artist from Taiwan. Before signing on with IDW Publishing as a comic book artist, he was an artist with Image Comics and had done some Transformers art for Hasbro. He left comic books as a career in 2010 to take a job as a full time industrial designer, although he still contributes the occasional piece of Transformers work, such as the covers for The Transformers: The IDW Collection hardcovers.

He does his own sound effects! [1]
