A force field generator is a device from the Prime portion of the Aligned continuity family.

A force field generator is a portable device used to create a force field around the user. One was held in the Vaults of Iacon before being hidden on Earth.

Before the Great War, the force field generator was kept in the Vaults of Iacon, but was hidden on Earth to keep it out of the wrong hands. Operation Bumblebee, Part 1. Millions of years later its location was decoded "Orion Pax" while onboard the Nemesis. Orion Pax, Part 2 Knock Out recovered the force field generator Operation Bumblebee, Part 1 and brought it to Megatron. He later used it while fighting Optimus Prime and Arcee. He was almost successful in using the device to push the two Autobots off a high cliff. It was destroyed by Bulkhead with the Forge of Solus Prime. Operation Bumblebee, Part 2
