Yummy yummy yummy I got THWUMM in my tummy!

Brawn lives to pit himself against physical challenges and to prove his mighty strength. In his opinion, the Autobot alliance with NEST is a great thing, as it gives him ready opportunity to do just that. Brawn possesses special indestructible fists that he's dying to put to the test against the legendary Decepticon powerhouse Rampage.

Titan Magazines Revenge of the Fallen comics

Whoa.

Brawn, along with Smokescreen and Wideload, had the misfortune to be on duty at NEST's South African prison when Bludgeon staged a jailbreak! The Autobot took charge, telling his partners things were likely to get ugly, and ordered Smokescreen to stay behind him while he, having tougher armour, soaked up enemy firepower. Unfortunately, it proved too much and despite his determination, Brawn fell before Bludgeon's might. He would have died if reinforcements hadn't turned up, and was horrified when (to prevent civilian casualties) those reinforcements let the Decepticons go, in full view of the human media. Inside Out!

IDW Comics

Brawn, at some point, was captured and brainwashed by the Initiative into being one of their soldiers. His colours were altered and he was thrown at an Autobot/NEST team in the Initiative's final battle. Nefarious issue 5 Nefarious issue 6

Along with the other brainwashed Autobots, he was eager to return to battle but Optimus told them they still needed to recuperate after the mental trauma they'd suffered. Rising Storm issue 1 While Optimus and his team went to save Sam Witwicky from a Decepticon attack, Brawn and the other refugees remained on Diego Garcia, nostalgically staring at pictures from Cybertron's past. In their docile state, they were found and killed by Shockwave. Rising Storm issue 3

    • Accessories: 2 pistols
Revenge of the Fallen: N.E.S.T. Global Alliance Brawn transforms into a modified NEST Hummer HX attack vehicle. He is armed with a pair of removable pistols with grooves in the handles (which, in an undocumented feature, can be clipped to the thin ridges on his back or shoulder kibble) and a non-removable machine gun that can be positioned to aim over either shoulder in robot mode and is mounted on his roof in vehicle mode. As another undocumented feature, his head is mounted on a jointed neck strut, and can be pushed back to reveal his neck and bring his head up past his shoulders. The bars at the back are also compatible with the 3mm clips featured in later toylines.
This mold was also used to make Transformers: Reveal the Shield Fallback.

Notes

  • Brawn's overall design and color scheme are, of course, an homage to his G1 counterpart. Specifically, the robot mode details and proportions are heavily based on the details of his original Generation 1 Mini Vehicle toy, with his head and the panel kibble on his arms being specific examples.
  • Brawn's design appears to have been used as the basis for the Robot Powered Machines-original character, Rollbar.
