Frak

Frak is a Transformer from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Working as an Energon miner in the Thymesis facility on Luna 2, Frak is a 'bot of humble aspirations — while his axe-hand is okay and all, a drill would be nice.

About 200,000 years before the war began, Frak and his buddy were mining Energon when he uncovered a strange green spark that emitted a flash of light. Unnerved, Frak's buddy alerted Momus, the foreman, who called in the find as a "code 113". The Functionist Council sent an Authenticator called Three-of-Twelve to verify that the spark was a viable "Point One Percenter" and Momus was rewarded by being reclassified as "alt mode exempt", meaning he could follow a career of his own choosing. Asking if he might be rewarded with a drill-hand, Frak was coldly informed that having been exposed to the spark's first flash, he had about six hours to live.
