The Thunder Talon is a powerful claw that is capable of piercing through any armor. Once the target has been grabbed, the weapon begins to drain energy from its target, leaving it powerless, and enabling the user to move faster. To complete this deadly combination, it also generates a force-field around the user. It is favored by Starscream, who no doubt uses its speed enhancing properties to his advantage.

Part of the second wave of Prime: Beast Hunters Deluxe Class toys, Starscream is an entirely new mold and comes with the "Thunder Talon", a massive claw that can be opened and closed by pulling the wings located on its rear. It has two 5mm pegs, one one its underside and another on its rear, which allow it to be mounted on his wrists, back, and hands. It also has clips that attach to the missile ports on his arms, allowing it to be attached in vehicle mode as well. In addition, the slots that attach it to the arm also enable the missiles to be stored on the weapon. It also has a saw molded in between the claws.
