Transformers: Dark of the Moon game

The Heavy Iron was used by Ironhide when he was sent to help evacuate citizens with Ratchet in Detroit from a Decepticon attack. He used this until he had to replace it with the Heavy Iron 2.0 to defeat Mixmaster. The Heavy Iron 2.0 was given to Ironhide by Wheeljack in order to help him combat Mixmaster. Unlike its predecessor, the Heavy Iron 2.0 was able to penetrate Mixmaster's shields and destroy him.Dark of the Moon (Xbox 360/PS3)

• A weapon similar to Heavy Iron is seen in the Dark of the Moon film in the NEST headquarters. Wheeljack gives it to Ironhide, telling him it's the perfect weapon.
• The Heavy Iron is basically a reformatted Ion Displacer from War for Cybertron.
• Simularly, Heavy Iron 2.0 is basically a reformatted Nucleon Shock Cannon from War for Cybertron.
