The Autobots race to reach a stasis pod before the Decepticons.
Synopsis
A spacecraft emerges from transwarp high over prehistoric Earth, something its occupant finds strangely familiar.
On the surface, the Autobots have a new problem. They've discovered that three experimental bodies stored in stasis pods were ejected during the crash, and after struggling to work out what to call themselves, Ultra Magnus announces they're going to have to go on a search and rescue mission. The Autobots load up onto a sky-sled and start tracking the transponders. Partway there, they're ambushed by Dirge and Seawing who destroy their transport. The Autobots continue on foot, but they arrive too late—Megatron has beaten them there.
After taking a moment to gloat, Megatron activates the three bodies, reformatting them as Scylla, Autojetter and Autolauncher. Though Ultra Magnus believes the new trio will remain Autobots, they're swift to correct him, opening fired and blasting him to the ground. The Autobots are soon being pounded by Decepticon weapons, and it's this moment that Depth Charge picks to make himself known. Though he tries to down as many of the Decepticons as he can to allow the Autobots time to retreat, he's blasted by Megatron.
Megatron advances on Depth Charge, but Ultra Magnus has recovered enough to open fire on the Decepticons with his Blue Bolts cannon. As the Autobots prepare to return to base, Depth Charge introduces himself and informs them he wants to talk to them about saving the Multiverse.

Quotes
"Was that the fastest you could get here in those new fur pelts of yours? Pitiable, pathetic Autobots."
- —Megatron
"You are unknown to me, worthless little bug. And to interfere with my plans is not a welcomed introduction. Now I'll pull your spark out and show it to you."
- —Megatron is upset at Depth Charge.
Notes
Errors
- The chapter title is missing. It was later revealed on the Allspark by Jesse Wittenrich.
Trivia
- So, hey, here's Scylla from Beast Wars II to replace Tentakil, who died in the previous chapter. Autorollers Autojetter and Autolauncher also hail from that franchise.
- Depth Charge's appearance is unsurprisingly based on the 2013 Collectors' Club figure.
- Depth Charge mistakenly calls Ultra Magnus "Maximal".
