Some Transformers can live out their entire lives without ever meeting someone to be their Conjunx Endura. In that respect, at least, Scattergun was luckier than most.

At some point in the past, Scattergun was Chromedome's Conjunx Endura. When he died, Chromedome found the grief too painful to bear and, against Brainstorm's advice, used his mnemosurgery skills on himself to remove any memory of Scattergun. The Gloaming

• Odds are that Scattergun was an Autobot given his close relationship with Chromedome, but you never know.
